ABOUT HOLDEN

Jim Holden.

Business thinking. An educator’s approach. Powerful tools.

Jim has been an educator since 2004. In 2022, he joined Seckinger High School in Buford, Georgia, to help open the new school as its main physics teacher. He now teaches physics and game design.

He holds a BBA in Marketing (2001) from UGA’s Terry College of Business and an M.Ed. in Science Education (2006) from UGA. His work brings business thinking and an educator’s care for making ideas clear and useful.

His projects include websites, interactive learning experiences and books written under the pen name Rowan Aster Vale.

We work with Harriet, our own AI agent, on powerful local hardware alongside selected public AI tools. We choose the tools around your project, with human direction and review.

The value is in how the work is defined, developed and checked. We use your approved goals and examples, test a focused result, and refine what needs attention.

Before work begins, we agree on scope, deliverables, data handling and what a useful result should do.

We start with the person the work needs to help. Then we build a focused version, test whether it serves that purpose, and improve it before handoff.

For an unfamiliar requirement, the next step may be a small feasibility pilot. We agree on the boundaries and cost before promising a larger build.
